Valentines Macarons
I don’t think my Valentine really likes Macarons, so I almost didn’t make this months MacTweets challenge. But I relented.
I went for a simple almond macaron, but piped them as a heart shape…
Which wasn’t particularly difficult. They weren’t the flattest macraons, but they did have feet.

If your mac-hearts got feet, they are true mac-a-valentines Lauren. I have a tough time getting my round macarons to develop feet. Love the ease with which your hearts grew them! Thanks for joing us at MacTweets!
Happy V Day!

Oh, Lauren, yours look just like mine when I tried to make heart shapes! And they are perfect feet, after all! I think they are very pretty, especially with the red jelly… So glad you join us every month!

Thanks Cristie, it’s actually really simple to pipe a different shape. I had been worried before had because I am not even very good at piping perfect circles (they usually look a bit flat at one end! But it turns out they are quite forgiving
